Nashville getting it's Due.

The Nashville and Middle Tennessee area has been the little engine that could for quite some time, but yet receives very little recognition. Until recently. Our area has made quite a few favorable lists of places to live for various reasons, but we have not been the juggernaut as our counterparts in Atlanta, Portland, Seattle and Austin, but that may be all about to change. With the addition of the huge new convention center, healthcare service headquarters, professional sports, the urbanization of downtown with the Gulch and SoBro, foodies, techies, production of a diverse genres of music, things are heating up for Music City.

The greatest thing, I think, to really put us on the map is the new ABC prime time show Nashville. I was leery at first on how the are would be depicted, but to my pleasant surprise it has been overwhelmingly positive and a big picture post card for the city. Hopefully it will stick around for a while and do for Nashville what the show Dallas did for it's namesake. Anyway there was a great Nashville article in the NY Times featuring the city and I just wanted to share it.

Happy New Year, may 2013 be the year it all comes together for you!
